Ayat al-Kursi

Meaning / Translation

In the name of Allah, who is Most Compassionate and Most Merciful
“Allah is the One besides whom there is no deity. He is Ever-Living, He is Qayyum. Neither drowsiness can overtake Him, nor sleep. Everything in the heavens and everything on the earth is His. Who is there to intercede in His presence without His permission? He knows what lies before His servants and what lies behind them (what they have done and what they will do). They can grasp nothing of His knowledge except as much as He wills. His Kursi has spread over and encompassed all the heavens and the earth. (He rules over the heavens, the earth, the whole universe.) Guarding and preserving the heavens and the earth does not weigh upon Him. He is Exalted, He is Great.”
Al-Baqarah 255
